About Plentiful Harvest

Plentiful Harvest is a nonprofit organization committed to combating food insecurity in the City of Houston. Since our launch in February 2022, we have been dedicated to providing fresh, healthy, organic, and vegan foods to those in need. In our first six months, we served 50 to 100 families each month, making a meaningful difference in their health and well-being.

In August 2022, we responded to the growing demand by expanding our efforts to reach approximately 1,000 families every month. This growth reflects the pressing need in our community and the trust that our neighbors place in us. As we continue to evolve, Plentiful Harvest has adopted a biweekly distribution model, allowing us to deliver fresh food more frequently and consistently to those who rely on our support.

Vision

Plentiful Harvest envisions communities where everyone can access sufficient nutritious food, health education, and financial literacy. We believe healthy and informed individuals can create optimal outcomes for themselves and their communities.
